You might also see ads based on your overall activity across various platforms. For example, data can be used to incorporate you into a 'custom audience' on Facebook, ensuring you view relevant Wooo ads.

For ad delivery, cookies or other trackers might be installed on your device. These track your Service usage and can be activated to present targeted ads. When assisting these ad providers, we might supply them with a scrambled, non-readable form of your data.

In addition, third-party tools help us analyze and oversee ad interactions and user data, always in compliance with GDPR.

All advertising processes, including personalized ads, use irreversibly anonymized data. Hence, no direct personal identification is possible.

Should you use our Services via another platform or click on third-party links, their respective privacy policies and agreements will also apply.

7.Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes and as permitted by applicable law. In order to safeguard the safety and security of our users, both on and off our Services, we have implemented a safety retention window of six months following the deletion of your account, unless technical difficulties prevent us from doing so. During this period, certain account information will be retained, although the account will no longer be visible on our Services. In practice, we either delete or anonymize your information upon account deletion (following the safety retention window) or after a continuous period of 5 years of inactivity. An account is considered inactive when the Member's Application has not established contact with Wooo’s servers (including due to the deactivation of geolocation processes), and the Member has not utilized the Application. Please note that an Account of a Premium Member is not considered inactive.

However, there are exceptions to this policy:

We may retain information if required by applicable law (e.g., certain "traffic data" is retained for one year to comply with statutory data retention obligations) or to prevent abuse of our system by bot systems.

We may retain information to demonstrate our compliance with applicable law, such as records of consents to our Terms, Privacy Policy, and similar agreements, which are retained for five years.

Information may be retained if there is an outstanding issue, claim, or dispute that requires us to keep the relevant information until it is resolved.

Information may be retained for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and enhancing user safety and security. For instance, information may need to be retained to prevent a user who was banned for unsafe behavior or security incidents from opening a new account.

Correspondence with our Customer Support team will be retained for a longer period to address any subsequent queries you may have, but it will typically be deleted within 6 years if no further queries arise.

Anonymized information regarding activity on our Services is retained for extended periods for statistical and product research purposes. However, this information cannot be attributed to any individual once their profile has been deleted.

Please bear in mind that while our systems are designed to execute data deletion processes following the guidelines above, we cannot guarantee that all data will be deleted within a specific timeframe due to technical limitations.

8. Data Protection and Security

We are committed to safeguarding your personal information and take extensive measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your data. However, like all technology companies, we cannot guarantee that your personal information will always remain secure. Your password plays a crucial role in our security system, and it is your responsibility to keep it safe. You should never share your password with any third party, and if you suspect that your password or account has been compromised, you should promptly change it and contact us at ppapp618@gmail.com with your concerns.

We routinely monitor our systems for potential vulnerabilities and threats, continuously reviewing our practices related to the collection, storage, and processing of information. This ensures that we can update our physical, technical, and organizational security measures as needed.

If we suspect or detect any security breaches, we may suspend your use of all or part of our Services without prior notice. If you believe that your account or data is no longer secure, please notify us immediately. Please note that we do not assume responsibility for virus protection beyond our service network, nor are we liable for any damage or loss of user data. We will take legal action, including civil and, if necessary, criminal proceedings, against any detected attackers or hackers.

In the event of a data breach, we are committed to the following actions:

We will notify the EU representatives, our Data Protection Officer (DPO), and our users who were or potentially were affected by the breach within 72 hours of the attack.

We will make a public announcement regarding the breach on our website.

Our Services are intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We strictly prohibit users under the age of 18 from accessing our platform, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you suspect that a user is under the age of 18, please utilize the reporting mechanism available through our service. In the event that we become aware of a child, minor, or anyone under the age of 18 having registered with us and provided us with personal data, we will take immediate steps to terminate that individual's registration and delete their profile information from our Services. If we do delete a Profile due to a violation of our policy regarding children, we may retain basic account and profile information to prevent circumvention of our rules by creating a new profile.

10. International Transfer Policy

To provide our Services to you, we must transfer your data to our servers and process it there. By visiting or using our Services, you consent to the storage of your data on our servers. If you are using our Services, you also consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your data. Specifically, personal data collected in Switzerland and the European Economic Area (“EEA”) is transferred and stored outside of these regions. This data is also processed outside of Switzerland and the EEA by our Wooo companies or our service providers. This processing includes transactions, payment facilitation, and support services, as described in Sections 4 & 5. We have established data processing agreements with our service providers to restrict and regulate their processing of your data on our behalf. By submitting your data or using our Services, you consent to this transfer, storage, and processing by Wooo and its processors. Our global network of servers includes locations in Germany, Netherlands, Turkey, and Canada. We ensure the adequate protection of data through valid and legally compliant mechanisms. If you require further information about the safeguards we have in place, please contact us at ppapp618@gmail.com.
